Durante la pasada reunión de la Sociedad Europea de Angle(la Sociedad internacional de Ortodoncia más prestigiosa de Europa), celebrada en Austria el pasado mes de enero 2014, el Dr. Domingo Martín Salvador, miembro activo de la misma desde 1992 y Secretario entre 2008 y 2010, fue nombrado Presidente para los próximos dos años.
La Misión de la ASE es reunir a los ortodoncistas europeos que buscan la excelencia y el cuidado del paciente basado en la evidencia profesional y que además están dispuestos a trabajar duro sabiendo que siempre hay más trabajo por hacer y este es el mensaje que se transmite.
El Dr. Martín es médico estomatólogo por la Universidad del País Vasco; Post-Grado en Ortodoncia por la Universidad de Valencia (Prof. José Antonio Canut); Diplomado en “Functional Occlusion “ por la Fundación Roth; Diplomado en la “Foundation for Bioesthetics”; Premio Juan Carol 1991; Miembro Diplomado de la SEDO; Director de la “Roth-Williams Foundation” en España y Portugal; así como Presidente de la “Roth-Williams International Society of Orthodontics” (www.rwiso.org); Profesor Visitante de la Boston University, de la Universidad Católica de Buenos Aires, y de la Universidad Internacional de Cataluña (UIC).

At the last meeting of the Angle Society of Europe(International Society of Orthodontics most prestigious European), held in Going, Austria in January 2014, Dr. Domingo Martín, an active member of the society since 1992 and Secretary from 2008 to 2010, was appointed president for the next two years.
The Mission of the ASE is to bring together European orthodontists who are not only searching for professional excellence and evidence based patient care but also have a message to deliver and are willing to work hard knowing that there is always more work to be done.
