INTRAORAL SCANNER
The intraoral scanner is used to obtain digital models of the patient's mouth. On many occasions it replaces the traditional molds (taken with a tray and an impression paste). It is a fast and convenient method of obtaining digital impressions of the dental arches. In addition, the software that manages it has multiple tools to get the most out of digital models. Measurements can be made, treatment simulations, bracket positioning planning, and braces digitally fabricated.
